Plane makes emergency landing after worker falls asleep in cargo hold


Seattle – A flight from Alaska made an emergency landing Monday when the pilot discovered that a baggage handler who dozed off in the cargo hold was trapped inside the compartment beneath him.

Alaska Airlines flight 448 was bound for Los Angeles but touched down in Seattle instead after the man was heard desperately banging on the wall beneath the passengers, the airline said.

While exiting the plane, the employee admitted to authorities that he had fallen asleep. More   More Strange News Stories
