Judge orders counselling for man found guilty of horse bestiality


Australia - A judge says if it weren't for an "appalling lapse" by Corrections Victoria in failing to provide counselling to a man convicted of bestiality, he may not have had sex with horses again.

Noel Mitchell, 67, was on Tuesday banned from owning or caring for horses and ordered to undergo counselling as part of an 18 month community corrections order when he was sentenced in relation to lewd acts with horses for a second time.

Mitchell, of Dereel, was convicted of one count of bestiality in May 2013 and sentenced to a community corrections order (CCO) that included a condition that he participate in offender behaviour programs.  More   MORE STRANGE NEWS
