A 20-year-old woman died early Friday morning after falling off an Orange County apartment balcony, according to a sheriff's report.
The incident happened at about 12:45 p.m. at the University Walk Apartments in Winter Park.
According to the Orange County sheriff's report, the woman, who was not identified, was kneeling on a chair and leaning on the balcony guardrail when she "did a maneuver like a handstand and fell over the guardrail."
The report did not state how many stories the woman fell.
The woman was transported to Winter Park Hospital by friends and then taken to the trauma center at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.
