TRENTON NJ - In New Jersey, New York, Vermont and Washington state lawmakers are considering measures that would allow employees to sue over bullying bosses. The New Jersey bill would allow employees to sue for as much as $25,000 if an employer creates "an abusive work environment," the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday. New Jersey Assemblywoman Linda Greenstein, a from the state's 14th district, said she sponsored the Healthy Workplace Act to help workers who cannot afford to quit their jobs and therefore "have to stay and put up with poor treatment."
