MIAMI FL - Miami police say a hit-and-run suspect attempted to fake a kidnapping in order to avoid prosecution. Police said they theorize Glenn Ruiz fled from his Honda Accord on foot after ramming another driver, and then sneaked back into the car just before it was towed, taping his ankles to make it appear as if he had been kidnapped, the Miami Herald reported Wednesday.
