DAVIE, Florida - A fistfight between a man and a woman in the middle of an Interstate 595 on-ramp turned fatal when the pair were struck by a car in the pre-dawn darkness Thursday, traffic officials said. The driver of the car did not see them on the ramp from northbound State Road 7, investigators with the Florida Highway Patrol said. And the battling Ramon Perez, 20, of Port St. Lucie, and Marie M. Mary, 36, of Lauderdale Lakes, apparently did not notice the approaching vehicle in time to get out of the way.
