BAKER COUNTY, Fla. -- An investigation got under way Wednesday morning after a man was found dead in the trunk of his car.
The car was spotted near a creek off state Road 229 by a Baker County sheriff's deputy who originally thought the vehicle may have been stolen.
After stopping to investigate, the deputy found the body of 35-year-old Mitchell Walter Wynn caught between the trunk and the rear seat of the car. The way Wynn's body was found seemed suspicious at first, but Baker County Sheriff Joey Dobson said the investigation has indicated otherwise.
