An hours-long argument over bungled driving directions prompted a new husband to end his honeymoon by slugging his bride in the face on Bloomington-bound airplane, police say.
Brian Fabian, 39, who lives in the Southgate Estates mobile home park in Bloomington, faces felony counts of aggravated battery and domestic battery. The charges - not his first domestic-battery case - allege he struck his new wife, Shauna Johnson, 29, twice Monday night on an AirTran Airways flight to Bloomington. The flight crew called ahead to Bloomington police, who arrested Fabian shortly after the plane touched down.
