Alexandria, Louisiana - A 4-year-old boy, trying to protect his mother, stabbed his mother's boyfriend in the head with a knife while the two adults were in an altercation, Alexandria Police reported. Police were summoned to a Chester Street home about 7 p.m. Tuesday by the mother, who said her 4-year-old son had attacked her boyfriend to make him release her. The boyfriend was transported to Rapides Regional Medical Center for treatment of two wounds to his head, police reported.
