Downtown Toronto Shut Down - Bomb Scare Turns Out To Be Alarm Clock


Canada - An emergency in the downtown core ended with a lot of fear, but not much danger Friday. The intersection of Front St. West between John and Blue Jays Way was closed off for several hours, after reports of a suspicious package being found in the area.
The Royal Bank Building at 325 Front St. West was evacuated as a precaution, sending some 2,000 workers home early. The Emergency Task Force and the Bomb Squad went in to take a look at the object that was causing so much curiosity on the second floor.
