SPRINGFIELD, Louisiana - A woman tried to shoot two men to death after a dog damaged Christmas decorations outside her mobile home, police said.
Livingston Parish sheriff's deputies say Ethel Shannon McKinney, 28, faces two counts of attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
Jason Ard, a sheriff's department spokesman, said McKinney and her boyfriend, 34-year-old Audie Ray Criswell got into an argument with two men over the damaged decorations.
