CHICAGO ― Bond has been set Monday for a woman who called police after allegedly stabbing her 70-year-old husband multiple times with a kitchen knife while he was sleeping late Saturday in their West Side home. Rovenne Barnes told police over the phone she stabbed her husband because "he keeps inviting people over in the apartment and she wasn't going to take it anymore," police said.
