LOS ANGELES, California - Los Angeles police say surveillance cameras in a major park that reduced serious crime are falling apart from lack of funding and maintenance. Reported crimes began to move up in MacArthur Park and its immediate neighborhood last year, The Los Angeles Times reported. Crime fell significantly after the cameras were installed three years ago.
