Fort Worth, Texas - Fort Worth police said Tuesday that no criminal charges will be filed against a family for leaving a 2-year-old girl at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant over the weekend.
The girl, called “Mimi" by relatives, was identified as Almedia James. She had been found unaccompanied Saturday at the Fort Worth restaurant in the 4800 block of S.W. Loop 820. The girl’s father, Brandon Bonner James, told police his daughter was taken to the restaurant by one aunt and was supposed to leave with another. “She wasn’t missed".
