Michigan - A man who had just registered a pistol with the Redford Police Department accidentally shot and wounded himself in the parking lot outside the police station Thursday morning.
The 34-year-old township resident suffered a bullet wound to his left calf and was treated at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, according to a township police report.
