DURANT — A man released from jail Sunday afternoon was arrested again that evening after he stole credit cards from a jailer’s vehicle and attempted to use them at a local business, the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office said. John Fowler, 21, Durant, was released from jail at 3:29 p.m. following an arrest by the highway patrol for driving under suspension and operating a vehicle in an unsafe manner, according to jail records.
