Ex-convict gets 7 years for claw hammer attack - Friend spilled beer on his couch


New York - An ex-convict will spend the next seven years in prison for hitting a friend on the head with a claw hammer in a dispute over spilled beer.
Gregory Hill, 47, was convicted Nov. 2, 2007, of second-degree assault. The victim, Brian Dudas, 46, was attacked in Hill’s Plymouth Avenue flat after they had watched a televised hockey game late on Dec. 21, 2006. More...
