Spring, Texas - A Spring woman was sentenced to 15 years in state prison Wednesday in connection with two surgeries on her young son that prosecutors said were unnecessary. Laurie Williamson, 40, was convicted April 24 of two cases of injury to a child in connection to the implantation of a nerve-stimulation device and a gastric-feeding button in her son.
She was sentenced to 15 years on each case, but the sentences will run concurrently, prosecutors said.
