SILVERDALE - A 23-year-old man who shot himself in the chest with a nail gun during a traffic stop on Thursday was in satisfactory condition Friday night after undergoing surgery at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Doctors told a trooper from the Washington State Patrol that the spike from the concrete nail gun had a washer on the end.
