SALEM, Oregon - Some people steal gasoline from auto gas tanks.
Police say a Silverton man did them one better. He tried to steal it from an underground storage tank, at a gas station.
And, they say, 37-year-old Shawn LaFollette had the means to carry it away; a 1,000-gallon tank of his own, inside a big trailer towed by his truck. Shawn LaFollette was tanken to the Marion County Jail, charged with theft, criminal mischief and trespassing. More...
