Australia - A police dog trying to sniff out an axe attacker overnight was thrown off the scent by an unrelated cannabis operation. The dog was searching a paddock at Carrum Downs in Melbourne's south for an axe-wielding man who attacked a speed camera operator at 10.35pm (AEST) yesterday when it instead led police to the drug house.
