
ATLANTA, Georgia - Complaints about stinky water have been pouring into Atlanta's Department of Watershed Management. Reports of the funny tasting drinking water started coming in Friday. The city serves 1.2 million water customers. Department officials say the water is safe to drink and blame the problem on "reservoir turnover." Spokeswoman Janet Ward said Sunday that reservoir turnover happens when colder water heats up and rises, bringing with it sediment and algae. More...
