Texas - A judge ordered today that a 14-year-old girl charged with capital murder in the death of her newborn son remain in custody rather than be released to her parents and grandparents.
Visiting Associate Judge Robert Thomas noted the seriousness of the accusations in ordering that the teenager remain in the custody of Harris County juvenile authorities at least until the next hearing, scheduled in 10 days.
