LONDON — "The Dark Knight" actor Christian Bale was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly assaulting his mother and sister, according to British media reports. Earlier Tuesday, the Welsh-born actor, who plays Batman in "The Dark Knight," was in custody at a central London police station being questioned by officers over the incident, said to have taken place in his hotel suite. “A 34-year-old man attended a Central London police station this morning and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault," a police spokeswoman said.
