SOUTH BEND, Indiana — Police confirm that a suspect in a bank robbery this afternoon was shot and killed after police reportedly chased him from the scene. According to South Bend Police Capt. Phil Trent, the suspect was standing in line at 1st Source bank on Portage Avenue when the manager recognized him as a suspect in a robbery last week.
