Allentown - A 25-year-old man fought with Allentown police officers last night, even after he had fallen off the roof of a third-floor building on Gordon Street, police said. Allentown police were called to 941 Gordon St. at 11:43 p.m. yesterday, looking for a wanted person. When they knocked on the door, they could see a man, later identified as Dennis Carl Jr., with no current address, climbing out of a third-floor window and running across rooftops, Assistant Chief Ron Manescu said. Two officers chased him along the rooftops, and as Carl tried to jump a gap in the roofline, he fell, Manescu said. More...
