Officers Shoot Man After Traffic Stop - Lied: said he had a gun


INDIANAPOLIS - A man was shot by at least one of two Indianapolis Metro police officers early Thursday morning on the city's northwest side. Police said they stopped the Cary George Osborne, 45, in the parking lot of a Denny's restaurant in the 8800 block of Michigan Road at about 1 a.m. after he was spotted driving erratically. IMPD Sgt. Matt Mount said that as the officers approached Osborne, he began arguing with them, pushed an officer and told them he had a gun. More...
