Illinois - A Round Lake Beach woman pleaded guilty today to offering a car to the alleged victim in her husband's rape case, in exchange for the victim recanting her testimony. Judge George Bridges sentenced Gloria Rodriguez to 18 months probation on charges of unlawful communication with a witness. Rodriguez was also ordered to pay a $100 fine. Rodriguez, 42, of 1205 Brentwood Drive, offered the underage victim in Jorge Robledo's sexual assault case a new car in return for her withdrawing statements she made to police. More...
