Close Call For Jimmy Carter In Denver During DNC


Denver - A close call for Former President Jimmy Carter and his wife Roslyn during last week's Democratic National Convention. CBS4 Investigator Brian Maass has learned a drunk driver came close to colliding with the former president's motorcade late last Tuesday night. Carter spoke at the DNC Monday. About 10:30 p.m. Tuesday the president's vehicle was stopped at a red light downtown. According to police, 31-year-old Amber Voiles was driving on the 1200 block of 17th street when she apparently hit a car in the intersection in front of Carter's motorcade. More...
