Woman Arrested After 35 Years On Run - Escaped from a Michigan prison


South Carolina - A woman who evaded capture for 35 years after escaping from a Michigan prison was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Piedmont Friday morning. Investigators said that Barbara Glenn, who was going by the name Barbara Corley, escaped from the Detroit House of Corrections in Plymouth, Mich. on April 23, 1973. At the time of her escape, Corley was in prison for several crimes, including a previous prison escape in Michigan in 1972. More...
