Man falls to death climbing balcony - Trying to quiet smoke alarm

A 38-year-old Hillsboro man died Friday night after he fell four stories while crossing a balcony to disable a neighbor's smoke detector, the police said. John Wardlow was trying to climb from one apartment balcony to another at 6 Bear Hill Road in Hillsboro, hoping to silence a smoke detector that had been going off in another apartment, Hillsboro Police Sergeant Aaron Smith said yesterday. He said the police believe the death was an accident and are not pursuing any criminal investigation. More... Magazine Lane - Discount Cigarettes & Tobacco - Nutty News Marketplace - Boden
