Grand Isle - Louisiana State Police investigators say they have arrested three suspects on suspicion of looting gasoline. Two of the suspects are identified as auxiliary members of the Grand Isle Police Department. According to Troop C, Troopers responded to a call from a Grand Isle Citizen who reported a theft of fuel from the Better Buy SHell Station on Grand Isle on September 13. After Troopers determined that two of the suspects were possibly Grand Isle police officers, they consulted with Grand Isle Police Chief Euris DuBois and Sheriff Newell Normand, who both requested that the State police handle the investigation.
