You gotta party if you want my inheritance


Florida - For the past decade, Robert P. Schwartz has required attendance at his birthday parties on the first weekend in August, reports the Naples News. Otherwise they wouldn't get any inheritance from him. But here's the kicker: The guy is dead. Before he died 10 years ago, the multimillionaire retired ad exec put this "party contract" in his trust instructions. Every year he'd pay for a lavish birthday party and relatives had to attend unless they had a good excuse.
