YONKERS - An 18-year-old has been charged with felony animal cruelty after he allegedly threw his mother’s cat to its death out a 14th-floor window. The teenager, Shaman Irvin, told officers that he hates cats and that he tossed the unneutered animal Thursday from his Warburton Avenue apartment building because it sprayed urine on the floor and scratched him, said Detective Ken Ross III of the SPCA of Westchester.
