HOBART, Indiana - A 34-year-old Chicago man whom customers mistook for a woman was charged with the theft of 22 bottles of perfume from a local store. Jose A. Torres Rivera was charged in Superior Court a Class D felony after a customer reported to store personnel at Ulta, 2395 E. 81st Ave., that a woman was taking perfume bottles out of the boxes and stuffing them in her purse.
