Man arrested in Karate class for being combative, showing karate moves

Virginia – A Stafford County man was jailed after he interrupted a karate class with some bizarre behavior, authorities said.

Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy said the man walked into Hampton’s Karate at 282 Deacon Road about 7:30 p.m. and disrupted a children’s class.

Kennedy said the man was yelling, being combative, displaying karate moves and at one point grabbed one of the students. He refused repeated requests to leave.

The Sheriff’s Office was called, and the children and most of the parents were outside by the time deputies arrived. Several fathers remained inside to help keep the intruder at bay.  More
