RICHMOND, Va. — NFL star Michael Vick is due in federal court Thursday to face federal dogfighting charges.
He's scheduled to appear at a bond hearing and enter a plea Thursday afternoon.
The Atlanta Falcons quarterback and three others are accused specifically of participating in a competitive dogfighting conspiracy, buying and training pit bulls for fighting, and conducting the operation across state lines.
Prosecutors allege the business operated on Vick's property in rural Virginia. Vick has denied knowing about it.
The four could get six years in prison if convicted. MagazineLane.com
