FOUNTAIN HILLS, Arizona -- A nearly 600-pound bear statue has been stolen from in front of a plaza in Fountain Hills, Ariz., a suburb of Phoenix. The $4,000 statue was taken Tuesday from in front of a plaza that contains the real estate office of its owner, Phyliss Kern, the Arizona Republic reported Friday. "Never in my wildest imagination would I have thought anyone would come and get it," Kern said. She said the theft left her "very, very angry."
