Disabled Lobsterman's Boat Sunk In Friendship

FRIENDSHIP Maine - A lobsterman who is a quadriplegic now faces a new struggle, after someone deliberately sank his boat.
Dan Reed says the boat was found sunk at the Friendship town dock on Monday morning. He says somebody cut a hose that supplies water to the engine, and sabotaged the bilge pumps so the boat would sink. Friends and relatives helped pump the boat out and tow it to a spot where it could be hauled off for repairs. The boat was specially built so Reed could operate it, despite his handicap. He says bills were already piling up, and losing the boat will make things that much tougher. Full Story - Boating Life Magazine - Salem Cigarettes - Frederick's of Hollywood
