UK - A court has heard that a father-of-four stole a TV set because he was addicted to soaps. Derek Tokeley, from Dartford, Kent, committed burglary after suffering from withdrawal symptoms when his own television broke. Tokeley, who stole a TV from a disabled neighbour in June, was desperate to catch up on a number of summer storylines, including Ken and Deirdre Barlow reuniting on Coronation Street.
