AHMADABAD, India - Twelve people were killed and eight injured when thousands of Hindu worshippers jammed a narrow bridge leading to a temple in India. Some people were trampled while others were said to have been pushed off the bridge into a gorge by the crush of pedestrians coming and going at the popular temple of the goddess Mahakali, the BBC reported Sunday.
