SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco is looking into becoming the first city in the country to have a city-run drug injection center, where addicts could shoot up. Although the idea is controversial, there is a meeting scheduled on Thursday to begin discussing the possibility. City-run centers would have counselors available if drug users want to quit. No one is talking about where they would be, but speculation centers on neighborhoods with high incidences of drug use.
