Bridgeport CT - A man speeding to the hospital after being shot in the face crashed into Bridgeport Hospital's emergency room entrance Friday. Police say no other patients or hospital workers were injured when 21-year-old Darren Swanson's car hit the doorway, shattering windows and damaging the door frame. Swanson was in fair condition later for treatment of the gunshot, which he said was fired at him by a group of strangers elsewhere in the city.
