Man has finger cut off - Hospital loses his finger - Sends him a bill for $3,000


Brooklyn NY - A Brooklyn man claims the hospital, noted for its surgical prowess in reattaching limbs and digits, inexplicably lost his sliced-off pinkie, and then handed him a bill for $3,000.
Efraim Rivera, 30, filed suit last week in Brooklyn Supreme Court against the city Health and Hospitals Corp., claiming he showed up at the hospital last February with his digit packed in a plastic ice-filled baggy, ready for reattachment by the acclaimed surgical team.
