FORT WALTON BEACH, Florida — A 12-year-old girl was arrested for battery after she burned a boy at the W.E. Combs School, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. Her charge is a misdemeanor. Lawmen say she used a Bic lighter on the boy’s elbow Monday. The incident was recorded on the school’s security system. An instructor said he smelled something burning.
