High School Football Coach Robs Bank - Loses Job

Chicago - A former University of Miami lineman -- now a DuSable High School football coach -- was relieved of his duties Tuesday after he was charged in a weekend bank robbery.
Shon Williams' arrest this weekend in a violent bank robbery and high-speed car chase shocked friends and colleagues. Williams, a former King High School football star, has been part of the local football community for at least 25 years.
On Tuesday, he was fired from his coaching job at DuSable, pulled from his post as a community service representative at the school and reassigned to an area office, pending disciplinary action, a Chicago Public Schools spokesman said.
