Arizona - Authorities are investigating the 14-year-old mother of a newborn that was found abandoned but alive in a garbage can outside a Phoenix school Tuesday night.
Fire Capt. Victor Rangel said the baby seemed to be in excellent condition. He also appeared to have been carried to full term.
Emergency crews took the newborn to be checked and treated by staff at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center.
