City hopes bats will solve bug problems


DELTONA, Florida - While Florida residents scratched their way through a buggy summer, local officials across the state were left seeking solutions. Deltona officials have settled on an unlikely candidate — the bat.
Deltona will bring the fly by night creatures, who are also known to eradicate bugs, to roost around city parks and public spaces this month.
