Florida - Authorities say they aren't sure where exactly the shoes came from. Thousands of shoes were dumped on the Palmetto Expressway causing significant traffic delays. Lt. Pat Santangelo says the Florida Highway Patrol received the report during rush hour this morning. A private contractor brought a front-end loader and a dump truck to the half-mile stretch of highway.
