Canada - Mayor Stephen Mandel not only wants the city to somehow control the use of knives, he wants to launch a campaign to remind Edmontonians how dangerous blades can be.
"Edmontonians over the past few years have experienced an increasing threat from violence through indiscriminate use of knives," Mandel said today, reading from a formal inquiry he was making.
"Action is needed."
